[ARCHIVED] Midland Parks & Rec Presents "Night of the Living Dead"

October 13, 2017  Midland Parks and Recreation is conjuring up the undead for a spooky pre-Halloween celebration next Saturday!

Fright lovers are invited to a free drive-in style screening of the 1968 horror film “Night of the Living Dead” at Stratford Woods Park on Saturday, October 21. The movie will begin at 7 p.m., and local food trucks from Midland Burger Company, Los Jalapenos, and Olvera’s BBQ will be on hand to provide tasty treats to eat before the movie starts.

Viewers will have two choices for watching the movie: stay in their cars and listen via their car stereo or (if you dare!) bring blankets and chairs to sit in the parking lot. This event is open to all ages; however, viewer discretion is advised as it may be too scary for young children.

Stratford Woods Park is located at 3922 E. Ashman Street in Midland.
