September 19, 2017 - On Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 8 to 10 a.m., the Midland Police Department and members of the community will come together at Coffee Chaos in Midland to discuss community issues, build relationships, and enjoy a good cup of coffee during a “Coffee with a Cop” event.
Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the police department’s work in the City of Midland. The majority of contact between the public and law enforcement happens during emergencies or emotional situations, which are not always the most effective times for relationship building. Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction between residents and the officers who serve and protect them.
Engaging the community in public safety efforts is a top priority of the Midland Police Department. MPD encourages all citizens to attend these events to share their concerns and meet the men and women who make every effort to address them.
Coffee Chaos is located at 6201 Jefferson Avenue in Midland. Special thanks to Denise and Kim Krantz with Coffee Chaos for opening their business for this event.
Any questions can be directed to Community Relations Sergeant Chris Wenzell at 989-839-4704 or Cwenzell@midland-mi.org.

About Coffee with a Cop
