The City of Midland’s popular summer recreation program for adults who have disabilities kicks off Monday, June 16.
Midland’s Lifetime Education and Adventure Program (L.E.A.P.) features supervised activities to broaden experiences and skills for participants ages 18 and older with disabilities. The program runs every Monday through Thursday evening through August 7 at various locations in Midland. Activities include sports, concerts, arts and crafts, and more.
Registration begins Monday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the City Forest Chalet. Registration forms are available on the City’s website at www.midland-mi.org/recreation. Participants are able to sign up at any point throughout the program. A calendar of events will be distributed upon registration, and can also be retrieved from the City’s website at www.midland-mi.org/recreation.
