Step into Fall with Midland Parks & Recreations Fall Walking Program

August 18, 2023 – Join Midland Parks and Recreation and members of the Midland community to continue weekly strolls during the fall season with Parks and Recreations newest program Step into Fall.

This new program will host a two-mile walk at the base of the Tridge every Wednesday from August 23-October 25 at 5:30 p.m. Parks and Recreation staff will lead each walk. Participation is free and open to everyone!

Step into Fall is sponsored by Midland Parks and Recreation and Runners Athletic Company.

Walk Midland will start on June 3, 2024!

Come get fit for free! The Walk Midland program encourages participants to walk an approximately 2-mile walking route. The program begins the first Monday in June and ends in August. Participants fill out a brief registration form at the start of each walk. 

With every two-mile local walk, drawings will be held for a gift certificate to a local ice cream or coffee shop. You will also be registered for the grand prize Midland Staycation gift basket. Bring your walking shoes and be a part of this free community-wide program. Most of all bring a good attitude and a willingness to participate for a healthier you. Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend or meet a neighbor and come get fit!  Please understand that children being carried or pushed in strollers do not qualify for drawing.
