Parks and Recreation’s adult beach volleyball league is an 8-week league that begins immediately after Memorial Day. The season will be played at Stratford Woods Park Sunday-Thursday and all games begin between 6-8:30 p.m. Teams will only play on the night that they choose. Games will not be rescheduled if a team cannot play. Scores and standings will be updated daily. The winner of each league will receive an award. Athletes age 14 and older are eligible to play with parents permission and concussion information on file.
Changes for 2021
New in 2021 we will have referees for every game. Teams will still be able to choose whether they are competitive or recreational, they will simply have a referee for every game.
We have added additional leagues throughout the week. Ask us about these new additions!
We will continue to be diligent regarding Covid-19 protocols.
March 15-April 18, 2021 or when leagues fill (leagues may fill early).
Teams will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.
Managers can register the team online or in person at the Parks and Recreation Office by paying the full team fee. There are no individual player fees.
Once the manager has registered the team and paid the team fee, they will be able to invite their players to join the team. For a how-to, please click here.
Teams must have the minimum number of players by Fri., May 28, 2021 or will forfeit their first game.
For youth age 14-17, parents must register these players. We will also ask for concussion paperwork.
