Airport 75th Anniversary
On May 20, 2023 from 10:00am - 4:00pm Jack Barstow Airport will celebrate it's 75th Anniversary with food, music and family entertainment.
On May 20, 1948 the Barstow Airfield was rededicated to the late Jack Barstow. Jack, an accomplished aviator, was instrumental in growing aviation in Midland.
To help us celebrate 75 years of providing aviation to the Midland Community Flying Trout Catering will be selling food, Whispering Pines will be providing a petting zoo and local band Coleman Road will play from 12-3.
Airport Story Hour
On the 2nd Sunday of every month at 3:00pm we hold Airport Story Hour. Kiddos of all ages are welcome to come and listen to two stories while enjoying fruit snacks and juice and make a craft. Stories and crafts are geared toward 3-5 year olds.
Food Truck Friday

Barstow Airport will host food trucks on various Fridays throughout the summer. Enjoy your delicious lunch in our beautiful Aviation Discovery Area while watching aircraft. You can find our latest schedule here.
