2020 Census
When it comes to the future of our community, guessing isn’t good.
While guessing the population of Midland *sounds* like a great idea, in reality, doing so puts our community at risk. The population of our city and county not only helps determine the number of representatives Michigan receives in Congress, but it also tells the federal government how much funding to give us for services like education, infrastructure, healthcare, transportation, and more. Pretty important stuff, right?
In fact, it’s so important that for every uncounted person who lives in Midland County, we could lose up to $1,466 in federal funding per person per year for the next 10 years. That’s up to $122 million dollars every year.
That’s why we’re asking you to help us, well, not guess... by taking the 2020 Census for you and your family. See how to count them here.
