NOTICE OF CANVASS OF EARLY VOTE CENTER

The canvass of the Early Vote will be conducted on February 27th, 2024 on or after 8pm at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, 1710 West Saint Andrews, Midland, MI  48640 – the totals will be available to those who are present.

NOTICE OF ABSENT VOTER COUNTING BOARD FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 27, 2024

Please take Notice that the City of Midland will participate in the processing and tabulation of absent voter ballots at Midland City Hall 333 W. Ellsworth Street, Midland, MI 48640 before the Presidential Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

City of Midland Absent Voter Counting Board dates, hours of operation, and number of election inspectors:

  • Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 18 Election Inspectors Cancelled
  • Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 18 Election Inspectors
  • Friday, February 23, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 18 Election Inspectors
  • Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 18 Election Inspectors Cancelled
  • Monday, February 26, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 18 Election Inspectors
  • Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (or until all ballots are processed) 21 Election Inspectors

NOTICE OF TESTING FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2024

Please take notice that there will be testing of the Computer Program for the Presidential Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Public Accuracy testing will be held for the City of Midland Friday, January 26th at 4:00 p.m. at Midland City Hall 333 W. Ellsworth St. Midland, MI 48640. 

NOTICE OF PRECINCT BOUNDARY AND POLLING LOCATION REASIGNMENT 

As a result of recent changes to Michigan election law City of Midland precinct boundaries and polling locations have been changed. New Voter Information Cards will be mailed to all City of Midland Voters. Please contact the City Clerk's Office with any questions.

Official Ballot Drop Boxes

The City of Midland has three official ballot drop boxes voters can use to return their absentee ballot applications or their absentee ballot.

  • Midland City Hall 333 W. Ellsworth Street Midland, MI 48640 (outside the Larkin Street Entrance)
  • Barstow Airport 6603 Barstow Drive, Midland, MI 48642 (across from the entrance to the administration building)
  • Midland Civic Arena 405 Fast Ice Drive, Midland, MI 48642 (outside the northeast corner of the building)

How a Change of Address Affects Your Voter Registration

A change of address on your drivers license will change your voter registration record. If you have moved, update your address online with the Secretary of State. Please contact the Midland City Clerk’s Office at 989-837-3310 if you have any questions about this process.
