Pooches at the Pool

Plymouth Pool is going to the dogs!

Owners will have the opportunity to fetch their Fido and take a swim before the pool closes for the season. Plymouth Pool features a zero-depth entry and a deep well - perfect for any pooch. Each dog (up to 30 per session) will get 30 minutes in the pool (owners age 8 and older are welcome to enter the water). Owners will be responsible for providing proof of vaccinations on the day of the event - thanks to the Midland Animal Clinic for verifying records. In addition, local canine organizations will be on hand to showcase their services and to provide volunteer assistance.

How It Works

Owners will have the opportunity to register (based on availability) their canine for one half-hour increment.

Vaccination and Spay/Neuter Requirements

All canines will be required to be spayed or neutered, have a rabies vaccine and we strongly suggest a Distemper/Parvo and a Bordetella vaccine. Owners need to provide written proof of the vaccinations on the day of the event. Dog tags do not count! Dogs will not be permitted in the pool without verification of this information.

Registration Information

All dogs on deck! Preregistration and prepayment for this event is necessary. Registration will end when all spots are full and will only be taken on the day of the event if space is available. Registration will begin in late July.

The Socially Distanced Version

Please be sure to join us in keeping our pups and human pets safe! Please adhere to the following COVID-19 restrictions for this event:
  • Please keep 6-feet between you and other attendees while at the event.
  • Please wear a mask while registering for this event. Attendees do not have to wear a mask on deck as long as they are socially distancing.
  • To keep you safe, we have eliminated vendors on deck, have increased the amount of time per sessions and have created a separate exit point.
