November 2, 2015 – The top course of pavement is in the process of being placed on the southbound lanes of Eastman from Saginaw. Motorists should expect short-term closures of the westerly legs of Sugnet and St. Andrews streets at their intersection with Eastman. These intersections should be reopened at the end of the day on Tuesday, November 3.
After the southerly lanes are paved, traffic will be switched and the same general process will take place while paving occurs on the northbound lanes. Similar shorter duration closures will occur at each of the intersections on the east side of Eastman. This part of the Eastman project should be complete by about Nov. 11, weather permitting.
As this project continues, information will be posted on City of Midland Facebook and Twitter pages. Like us at facebook.com/MidlandConstruction and follow us at twitter.com/cityofmidlandmi for updates.
