SNACK & YAK TEEN BOOK CLUB
Grades 6-10

It’s January and Snack & Yak is back!  Are you hungry?  For books?  For snacks?  For stimulating conversation?  If so, join us Friday night to snack and yak about Nimona by Noelle Stevenson.  Nimona, a National Book Award Finalist, is Snack & Yak’s first graphic novel selection. Kirkus Reviews stated, “If you’re going to read one graphic novel this year, make it this one.” 
Copies of the book will be available at the Youth Services Desk.

TEEN STUDY WEEK

Grades 9-12
Tuesday, January 17 through Monday, January 23
Need a change of scenery? Need a place to study for exams? Come to the library! We have individual and group study spaces available in the Teen Spot, Adult Services Department, Youth Services Department, and the Mezzanine. In addition, Conference Room A has been reserved for teens to use on a first come basis throughout the week. 
     

CRAM NIGHT
Grades 9-12
Sunday, January 22 
5:30-8:00 PM

Grab your notes and your books and bring your friends to our "teens only" cram session at the Library. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops as library computers will not be available for use. Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be provided. School ID recommended. For more infomation, call the Youth Services Department.

Three, two, one . . . slap if you dare! Silent Library is coming to Fab Friday!  Are you up for the challenge?  Can you complete the tortuous pranks without exceeding the decibel limit?  If you and your friends are looking for some fun and excitement, join us for Fab Friday Silent Library.  Snacks and prizes will be awarded to those who can do their best and stay quieter than the rest.

FREE KINDLE eREADER LENDING

The library has four Kindles available for check out for use by patrons ages 6 to 17.
The Kindle eReader must be checked out on the parent's or legal guardian's library card.

The Kindles can be loaded with up to four OverDrive titles.

The Kindle has a checkout period of three weeks.
